Rovaniemi Nordmen
WE ARE THE NORTH
Founded in 2013, the Rovaniemi Nordmen are the northernmost American Football club in the European Union. Often referred to as the Warriors of the Four Winds, the Nordmen compete in the 2nd Division of the SAJL (Finnish American Football Association), the formal governing body for American Football in Finland.
Our hometown of Rovaniemi is small in size and population, but rich in culture and ethnic diversity. This is also visible in our club, as we have had a players from over 10 different countries take the field to fight for the North. We have also welcomed import players from all over Europe to compete with us, offering them the opportunity to play the game they love in a foreign country, while also providing them with the chance to immerse themselves into Lappish life and culture.
