The Rovaniemi Nordmen were founded in 2013 and participated for the first time in the SAJL’s Men’s 4th division in 2014. From 2015 to 2018, the team played in the men’s 3rd division, winning the championship, the Tin Bowl (Tinamalja) in 2018 with an undefeated record. In 2019, our men’s team sought promotion into the SAJL’s 2nd division, again going undefeated and winning the Iron Bowl (Rautamalja). Our men’s team again moved up to the SAJL’s 1st Division for the 2020 and 2021 seasons. After this short stint in the 1st Division, the Nordmen returned to the SAJL’s 2nd Division, beginning in 2022, going undefeated during the 2023 season and once again winning the Iron Bowl.

Our women’s team competed for two seasons in the SAJL’s Women’s 2nd Division during the 2017 & 2018 seasons.
